When working in Sketch with a DSM design system, you'll be working through a DSM managed library. The DSM-Sketch integration was built to tightly integrate with native Sketch Libraries functionality, so you can expect to work in the same way. There are several ways to access and design with your design system's elements.
Warning: You'll need to have added a design system's managed libraries before you see any design elements.
Access elements
➕ Using the insert menu
From Insert in the top-left, you'll see a list of symbol, text styles, and layers styles separated out by DSM managed library to add to the canvas.
➕ Using the library panel
Select C on the keyboard to view a Library modal window or toggle to the Components view, located in the top-left corner of Sketch, by swapping from the canvas. Search then select an element to add right onto the canvas.
