DSM plugin

The DSM plugin connects you to the web portal via your design tool, Sketch. Let's take a minute to familiarize ourselves with everything on the screen in Sketch.

A - DSM modal window: When you tap the DSM icon, you’ll open up the plugin’s modal window allowing you to add to or update a design system or view the web portal.

B - Settings in the plugin: From the plugin, you can create a new design system or access your organization’s settings.

C - DSM plugin: Access the DSM plugin in Sketch. This gives you access to design systems on the web and allows you to add and update your DSM web experience.

D - Draft and versions: See which versions you’re syncing with or sync to a new one. Once you sync, you’ll see a notification in Sketch of a library update in the top-right of your Sketch window. Click it to review and update your file.

E - DSM managed libraries: Multiple Sketch libraries can make up a DSM design system. You’ll see all your design elements from DSM in the libraries annotated with (DSM), indicating it’s linked.

F - Native Sketch Libraries integration: Drag and drop design elements linked to a DSM design system directly from the Components panel in the Sketch sidebar.
