    Creating a design system with DSM

    You can create a design system two ways: from the web portal or from the DSM plugin

    🖥 Creating a design system from the web

    To create a design system via the DSM web portal:

    1. Sign in to your InVision account.
    2. In the sidebar menu, click Design Systems.
    3. Click Create.
    4. Enter a name. Optionally, add a description and upload an image.
    5. Set your initials permissions to Only people invited can view or Anyone at your organization can view. This can be changed later on.
    6. Click Create.

    🧩 Creating a design system from the plugin

    To create a new design system via the DSM Sketch plugin:

    1. In the DSM Sketch plugin panel above the left-hand layers list, click the DSM icon.
    2. At the top right of the DSM window, click the Settings icon.
    3. Click New Design System.
    4. Enter a name. Optionally, add a description and upload an image.
    5. Set your initials permissions to Only people invited can view or Anyone at your organization can view. This can be changed later on.
    6. Click Create.
