With the Embed tool, you can add different types of content to your freehand to share all the resources and context that your team needs. To access the Embed tool, click the More tools menu (•••) in the toolbar.
You can embed content from the following tools and platforms:
- Adobe XD
- Coda
- Figma
- Google Calendar
- Google Maps
- Loom
- Microsoft 365
- Mode
- SketchFab
- Spotify
- Vimeo
- YouTube
Here are a few things to note regarding embedding content in Freehand:
- The Embed tool allows you to embed a document within Freehand based on the URL you paste. InVision doesn't have access to the data contained in your embedded objects, and the embedded objects don't have access to InVision data.
- Embedding a URL doesn't allow you to bypass your company’s content and network controls. For instance, if your company’s network blocks you from visiting sites like YouTube, Vimeo, or Mode, you will likewise not be able to view the embedded objects in Freehand.
- Permissions and controls for the embedded URL need to be managed outside InVision, since InVision doesn’t have access to them. For instance, if you embed a private Google calendar in your freehand, freehand viewers won't be able to view the embedded calendar unless they’re logged into their Google account and have permission to view it.
