With InVision V7, you can export specific prototype screens as a fully functioning offline prototype, PDF, or ZIP file.
Currently, it’s not possible to export Studio prototype screens in InVision V7.
Owners, admins, managers, and members can export prototype screens. Guests don't have the option to export prototypes screens. Read InVision V7 user roles for more information about user roles.
Export specific prototype screens
To export specific screens:
- Sign in to your InVision V7 account and open the prototype.
- Select the screens you wish to export.
- At the top right of the page, click ••• More.
- Click Export prototype and select your preferred export type:
- Export to PDF
- Export as offline prototype
- Export screen images (.zip)
- Export comments (.csv)
A new window opens, and the file downloads to your computer.

Download a single screen
You can download a single screen as a .png image.
- Sign in to your InVision V7 account and open the prototype.
- View the screen you wish to download.
- Click
Export > Download Screen.
The file downloads to your computer.
Export text layers in prototype screens
You can download all text layers in your prototype screens as CSV or JSON files.
- Sign in to your InVision V7 account and open the prototype.
- Open a screen in your prototype.
- Click Export > Export text layers.
- Select one of these options:
- This screen to download text layers in the screen you’re viewing.
- All screens to download text layers in all screens in the prototype.
- Select the format and the delimiter.
- Select Export.
The file downloads to your computer.
Limitations
In addition to the inability to export Studio prototype screens to offline prototype, PDF, or ZIP file, there are a few limitations when exporting specific prototype screens to PDF:
- Comments can't be included.
- Landscape orientation isn't an option.
- Password protection isn't supported.
