Share password-protected prototypes, freehands, and boards

As a member of an Enterprise team, you can use password protection when sharing a document via a public share link.
Password protect freehands
To create and share a password-protected public link for a freehand:
- Open the freehand and, in the top-right corner, select Share.
- In the drop-down menu on the left, select the option Anyone with the link.
- Toggle the option to Enable password protection.
- Enter the password you want to use, and, if needed, select Copy to copy the password to your clipboard.
- Select Copy link to copy the public link URL and share it as desired.

Password protect prototypes
To create and share a password-protected public link for a prototype:
- Open the prototype and, in the top-right corner, select Share.
Alternatively, from the Documents tab, hover over the document thumbnail, and select More (•••) > Share.
- In the Share dialog, select the Public tab, and then select Get Public Link.
If there is an existing public link for the document, you won't see the Get Public Link screen.
- Click Update public link settings.
- Toggle the option to Require a password, type the password you want to use, and then select Done.
- Back in the share dialog, copy the public link URL and share it as wanted.
Password protect boards
To create and share a password-protected public link for a board:
- Open the board and, in the top-right corner, select Share.
Alternatively, from the Documents tab, hover over the document thumbnail, and select More (•••) > Share.
- In the Share dialog, navigate to the Public tab and select Update public link settings.
- Toggle the option to Require a password, type the password you want to use, and then select Done.
- Back in the share dialog, Copy the public link URL and share it as wanted.
Change the password for a protected public share link without changing the URL
Changing the password for any password-protected public share link you manage will not affect the link. Feel free to update your public link password as needed.
