Add action buttons in Freehand

Use action buttons to add buttons to the canvas that launch Freehand tools and integrations, enabling other users to open them from the canvas.
Action buttons are especially handy when building custom templates. They help template users find the integrations and tools referenced in the template and complete their tasks.
Add action buttons in your freehand canvas
To add action buttons to your freehand canvas:
- Sign in to InVision and open your freehand.
- On the bottom toolbar, select ••• More > Action Buttons. The action button modal appears.
- Scroll to locate thetool or integration you want to add to your canvas. You can also use the Search field to search for a specific tool or integration.
- Drag the tile for thetool or integration you want to add to your freehand canvas. The action button appears in your freehand.
When a user selects an action button, the tool's panel opens in Freehand.
Remove action buttons from your freehand canvas
To remove an action button, select the action button you want to delete and press Delete
on your keyboard. You can also select the action button and select••• More > Delete.
You can lock action buttons to prevent other collaborators from moving or deleting them. To lock action buttons, select the action button you want to lock and select Lock ()
