Attaching a prototype

After enabling the InVision Power-Up, you can begin attaching prototypes to your Trello cards.

To attach a prototype to a Trello card:

  1. Sign in to InVision and obtain the share URL for your prototype.
  2. After obtaining the share URL, sign in to Trello and open a card.
  3. In the right-hand Power-Ups menu, click InVision.
  4. Paste your prototype URL and click Attach.
Note:

You must add the share URL using the InVision Power-Up field. If you paste the URL into a card's description or comment field, it will not be recognized.

The prototype will now appear in the InVision section of the Trello card. To open the prototype in InVision, click the Comment, Preview, or Inspect links. To use the prototype as a cover for the Trello card, click Make cover.

When changes are made to the prototype, the share URL stays updated with the latest changes, as does the preview image under the InVision section (it is always the first screen in the prototype).

Note:

The cover image and the image under the Attachments section do not get updated.

Disconnecting a prototype

To disconnect a prototype from a Trello card:

  1. Sign in to Trellow and open the card.
  2. Under the InVision section of the card, click Disconnect prototype.
  3. If you also want to remove the prototype link under the Attachments section, click Delete, and then click Delete again.
