Inbox notifications

Inbox in InVision V7 allows you to receive notifications about relevant new comments and invites. You receive a notification when someone:

• Posts a new comment on a document you own
• Mentions you in a comment or a sticky note
• Replies in a thread you're participating in
• Invites you to a freehand or prototype
• Adds you as assignee to a card in Freehand
• Requests access to a document
• Grants your request for access to a document

View new notifications

To access your inbox, navigate to the top right of almost any page and select the bell () icon.

When you have a new notification, a badge displays on the bell icon (), indicating there are unread comments within the inbox. Notifications are grouped by threads and will be listed by recency.

Manage unread notifications

Select a notification to be taken the relevant comment card in the document. 

To mark a notification as read from the inbox or comment panel, select More options (•••) > Mark as read. If a comment thread is being read within a document, the corresponding notification in the inbox will also be marked as read.

View read notifications

To view notifications you've previously read, select  Inbox > View read notifications.

To mark a notification as unread, open the Inbox, select••• More options > Mark as unread.
