App store

I wanted to download some icons from the app store which usually loads but for some reason when I pressed into the app store function, it says "something went wrong". I am pretty sure my connection is okay but have no idea what to do. Thank you

Hi Phoebe,

I can confirm that what you're encountering is related to a known limitation where App Store sometimes displays "Something went wrong" message.

Our Product and Engineering teams have evaluated based on factors including severity, impact, scale, and frequency. Given the cost required to address this bug, we have decided to allocate our resources to addressing other issues with a greater impact on our customers, and don't intend to fix this issue at this time.

In the meantime, this issue usually is caused as a result of some sort of firewall / proxy / block on network traffic. Additionally, some users have found that signing out of Studio and signing back in also temporarily resolves the issue.

I understand that signing out and back in didn't not resolve this, and you may not have other networks to test while working from home. I would recommend checking whether you have a VPN enabled, and if so, try accessing Studio after disabling it.

We understand how frustrating it is to hear that a bug that's impacting your workflow will not be fixed, but we will continue to track this issue and monitor the prevalence and severity of the bug, and we will revisit that decision if the circumstances change.

I'm sorry I don't have a more satisfying answer for you today, but please don't hesitate to get back in touch if you ever have any other queries or suggestions. We're always happy to help.

Regards,

Camille
