Horizontal scrolling

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to horizontal scroll through prototyping by overlaying an image on top, like you can on Marvel and Figma, without using Invision Studio?

Come on Invision, it's 2021!?

Hi Livia,

Thanks for getting in touch via our community! I'll be happy to help here.

It is possible to scroll horizontally in desktop prototypes; this would be achieved by making your artboard as wide as required and then setting the zoom/scroll behavior to "Normal" in the screen settings of the published prototype. The screen can then be scrolled horizontally when previewing by holding down the shift key and using the scroll wheel or gesture. You may also want to set the design alignment to suit.

More on this here: How does the zoom/scroll feature behave?

Currently, it's not possible to scroll mobile prototypes horizontally. You can find out more here: Can I make my mobile prototype scroll horizontally?

With that said, I'm not quite sure what you mean by overlaying an image. If the above information doesn't address your query, could you please expand on this point further?

Thanks, Livia!
