Components Appear to be Disabling Colors on Lower Layers

I have two components, a rectangle and a line. It's really simple, but for some reason, when I move the navigation component above the rectangle (navigation has a shadow that I want on top of that rectangle), everything appears fine.

If I move the rectangle below the navigation, the color of my rectangle disappears and I can't change it. Almost as if the rectangle itself disappears visually.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've troubleshot to my minds extent, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or what is happening here. Honestly, it appears to just be a bug.

I should also note that SOMETIMES, it does not matter in which order I move my layers/components, the rectangle will lose it's color property.

We'd like to gather some additional details to assist in troubleshooting this further. Would it be possible to provide the following?

  • Can you please send a screenshot of your operating system information? We need to see both the “Device specifications” and the “Windows specifications” sections on the “About” page. To grab that info, click the Start (Windows icon) button, and then click Settings > System > About.

  • Which version of Studio for Windows are you using?

  • Does this occur in all your Studio files?

Once we have those details, we'll be able to investigate further into this issue for you.

I'm not entirely sure if this happens in all files or just this file, I only have one at the moment.
I'll test this today after work, but as for the rest of your questions, see the screenshots below.
