Problem with overlay width

Since yesterday, I have a huge problem with overlays. All my Overlay (Sidebar Menues and stuff like this) are all displayed 100% width. This wasn't the case yesterday and all the days before. What happened? Did you change anything on the InVision overlay handling side? Anyone else having the same issue?

I have the same issue. Overlays that appear on click, are slow to load, load at 100% instead of scaled to browser, and not showing at custom position. Overlays that appear on hover, do not load at all. I'm on a Mac (Mojave) using Chrome (Version 91.0.4472.114). This problem just started late yesterday.

To help our support team dig into this further, could you please provide some further details (Jennifer, please skip the details you've already provided):

  • If you're comfortable/able to share here, could you please send through some screenshots or a screen recording showing this issue occurring, especially of any error messages you might see?
  • Does this issue continue in a private/incognito window, or a different browser?
  • Could you please confirm your browser and OS details by going to www.whatsmybrowser.org, clicking the “Copy” button, and pasting the link it gives you into your reply?

This information will help us dig into this issue further. Looking forward to your reply!

Morning Raynor,

I'm already in touch with some other InVision employees through this ticket: https://support.invisionapp.com/hc/en-us/requests/790274

I think they already reproduced the error and working on a solution. 

So i think there is nothing to do for you at the moment :P

Hello Raynor,

I am still having problems with Screen as Overlay. I've also confirmed it is happening in all my browsers (Chrome 91, Firefox 89, Safari 14)

- Position "Custom" will not show the overlay at all.

- Position "Top Left", "Top Right" , and "Centered" will show it - at 100% instead of scaled to the browser or relative to scale of the page. 

No error messages appear.

 

Here are my settings: 

Operating system OS X 10.14.6
Javascript enabled Yes
Cookies enabled Yes
Flash version Not installed
Java version Not installed
Websockets supported Yes
WebGL supported Yes
Language en-US
Browser size 1440 x 783
Screen size 1440 x 900 (Retina)
Color depth 24 bit
AdBlock enabled No

I'm having the exact same problem... when I click custom and add the png, it's in a normal size, and when I save it and try it out it's doubled its size...

Hi Raynor, 

This is the screenshot when I position the overlay and then when I use the "play mode". I've spoken to other colleagues and the same thing happens to them. 

I use Chrome, I'm sharing the link as well.
