I am supposedly to design for iPhone 12 Pro and Google Pixel 5 here on my Studio this week, but it seems that InVision didn't update Studio long enough for 2 years, that it missed to add the recent iPhone and Google pixel.
But it turns out, if you deviated, even for a single pixel on a Preset Artboard sizes from Studio, it becomes a Custom artboard, which is understandable.
But what is wrong about it is it doesn't let you use Touch Cursor or at least manually toggle it when it's appropriate (e.g. custom Mobile artboard sizes, that Studio might've not have on their Preset sizes) on the Override Artboard Settings popup.
Check out the screen capture of the behavior here : https://youtu.be/INYl1GH-EBA
At least let us manually select our cursor in the Prototype window settings. Switch from either Touch or Arrow cursors. This is how it should look like
Literally, I think this is easily implementable even by next week's update. Please just give us an option as soon as possible.
I am so bummed and annoyed I am not able to complete my client's prototype video by this week, by this simple feature limitation of Studio. As this simple thing is readily available right now on any UI design tool out there.
Lastly, another behavior suggestion. I hope Studio doesn't return the Prototype Cursor back to Arrow if the cursor gets out of the viewport dimension.
I hope it still stays the same until you're inside the Prototype window itself, not the the Prototype viewport. Or at least give us an option for that as well.
