Unauthorized to create prototype

Hello!

I want to publish a specific page of a document in Sketch. When I select « New » instead of « Select existing », i get this error. Anyone can help? I run the latest versions of Sketch and Craft.

Thanks! :-)

Hi Maude,

I've taken look at your account in our system, and I can see that the team under your email address has reached it's three document limit for the Free plan, which might explain why you're unable to upload your project.

As a first thing to rule out, would you be able to delete an existing document to make room for your new prototype and see if you're able to publish it successfully afterwards?

If you're no able to publish after those steps, we'd like to gather some additional details to assist in troubleshooting this further. Would it be possible to provide the following?

  • What operating system are you using? Please include the version (e.g. macOS 11.0.1 or Windows 10).
  • What version of Sketch are you using?
  • What version of the Craft plugins are you using?

Look forward to hearing back!

Thanks,

Camille

Hi Maude,

That's great news! I'm happy to hear that Camille's troubleshooting suggestion resolved this.

With that said, I'll go ahead and open a ticket on your behalf to add your vote to our feature request for providing a more informative message in Craft when you've reached your document limit. Please keep an eye out for an email indicating that we’ve formally tracked your feedback.

Best,
Raynor

Hi Ritika,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the issues encountered with InVision and Craft running on Sketch.

Most Craft issues can often be resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, so I'd like for you to give that a try using the instructions below.

To uninstall Craft:
1. Click the Craft Manager icon in the macOS menu bar.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner.
3. Click Preferences.
4. Click Uninstall to uninstall the plugins.

The plugins should now be uninstalled. To reinstall:
1. Click the Craft Manager icon again in the macOS menu bar.
2. Select the Tools tab at the top of the window.
3. Click Install.

If you continue to experience issues after reinstalling, could you provide more context as to what exactly you see happening?

I’d also like to gather a little more information so we can better evaluate the trouble you’re having. Here are a few questions we have for you:

  • Are you creating an existing prototype or syncing to an existing project?
  • What is the name of the prototype you are attempting to sync to?
  • What operating system are you using? Please include the version (e.g. macOS 11.0.1).
  • What version of Sketch are you using?
  • What version of the Craft plugins are you using?

Thanks,

Camille
