Lost work when synching to craft

I am wondering if anyone has experienced the sad and frustrating thing that just happened to me.

I saved a file in InDesign, and did tons of changes to it. I know I saved it, I even changed the name of the file. However, somehow, when i tried to upload to Craft, I got a screen saying that Craft needed access to my system folder. I checked the system folder and everything was correct. 

I quit craft, saved my work, quit Sketch, and now my file is gone. I cannot find it anywhere, it vanished.

Any suggestions? I just want to cry,

Thanks for getting in touch via our Community! I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble here. 

Craft is only available for Sketch and Photoshop, so would you mind expanding on this issue? Are you using InDesign or Sketch? 

The following details will help us get a better idea of this issue:

  • Could you please send through some screenshots or a screen recording showing this issue occurring, especially of the error messages you mentioned?
  • Which versions of Craft and Sketch are you running?
  • Could you please send a screenshot of your "About This Mac Panel"?
