Working with PDFs for Revisions, Feedback, Marking up

Our team would like to use InVision for Annotating and Marking up multipage PDF documents.(Design reviews) First, does InVision transcribe the original document as it was exported/imported. (no odd / janky issues within the PDF) Like what you'd see when reviewing a High Quality PDF reviewed in Acrobat. Also, what is the best place to upload the PDFs to markup- within InVision- which area is best for this purpose? Thanks!

Hi Rick,

Thanks for reaching out to our Community!

Just to make sure that I'm interpreting your query accurately, would you mind clarifying a few points?

Are you looking to upload PDFs to be able to annotate them within InVision? In Cloud V7, it's currently only possible to upload PDFs to a Board project, but this doesn't allow annotation, just the ability to download it. Were you looking for something along the lines of uploading the PDF to a Freehand to be able to annotate it in a whiteboard style?

Or, were you looking for the ability to download prototypes to PDF and having any text within the artboards be accurately recognized during export?

Looking forward to hearing back back from you!

Best,
Raynor
