Hello there, I wonder if InVision Studio is going to be supported/developed further and new features will be released. If not, I believe InVision should be honest with their users, so they will start their transition to other prototyping tools.
Please don't reply yes or not, but provide a profound detailed answer. Thank you.
Any InVision Studio updates?

Hi Archie,
Thank you for reaching out and asking for clarification. Yes, we’re supporting and developing Studio, and a new version is currently in beta that moves design files to the cloud and enables real-time collaboration, plus many other improvements. We believe that collaboration is fundamental to the product development process, which is why this new version of Studio is built with real-time collaboration at its core.
Our new version of Studio is built on top of the new version of our InVision Cloud platform, what we call V7. V7 also offers better ways to collaborate and organize work and prototypes; includes new tools for easier sharing and team management; and allows for a steadier cadence of InVision updates and releases in the future. Within V7 we’ve launched meaningful updates recently, including Specs, which is a specialized document for designer and developer collaboration, and Spaces—new, dedicated project hubs—to keep work organized and teams in sync. For the teams who are currently not in this platform, we’re actively converting teams on V6 to V7.
While it looks like you have access to V7 already, others who may not and want to check it out can sign up at invisionapp.com and create a free account to take advantage of our improved collaboration.
We’re spending more time learning from our community (e.g. beta programs, research), which is why we’ve been relatively quiet about our upcoming releases. We are planning to introduce our innovations to more people this year. We believe our vision for structured and inclusive design-led collaboration is aligned with customers’ expectations and how we will all work in the future.
Thank you again for the question and the patience. We are building our platform based on what is needed to deliver the value that you expect and can rely on.
Thank you for you reply Jessica!
It's a very important information for me and our entire community.
I also hope that development is progressing towards integrating InVision Studio with DSM.
I use InVision Studio as my primary prototyping tool and I designed prototypes with more than 200 artboards.
Let me know if I can support product development.
Hi Archie!
Supporting DSM for Studio is a particular potential feature that our Product team are tracking interest for, so I'm going to go ahead and open a ticket on your behalf to track your interest for this specific feature. Please keep an eye out for an email indicating that we’ve formally tracked your feedback.
Thanks, Archie; have a great day!
Regards,
Raynor
Thank you Raynor!

This is great to hear. After so long without updates, I had to assume that:
InVision has always made tools for digital product teams, inclusive of developers and non-designer stakeholders. The current, in-production version Studio is really only for designers. I'm excited to see the new Studio, built within and around the collaboration and production pipeline that is V7.
Now if I could only get the V6 and V7 pricing pages to stop swapping and buy Pro without having to figure out how to add people to a team after wrangling everyone and forcing them to sign up... ...But that was a while ago and I won't be in the market for a little while so everything will probably be fine by the time I'm back.
Hey Jessica & Raynor,
Any updates?
Hi Archie!
Studio 2 is currently in Beta. You can read more about this in more detail here: Intro to Studio 2 Beta
Have a great day, Archie!
Best,
Raynor
Thank you Raynor for sharing this link. I didn't see it.
I tried to get an access to InVision Studio 2.0 Beta at invisionapp.com/studio, unfortunately I couldn't see a link to version 2.0 beta, only 1.28.2.
Is it still not yet there?
Also, I have big InVision projects containing 100-300 layouts. Are they going to be compatible with actual InVision? Do you want me to share with you those file, so you guys can "play" with them and see if it works as expected?
Archie
Hi Archie,
My apologies for the delayed reply here!
Currently sign-ups for Studio 2 Beta are closed. I apologize for the confusion here, and our support documents have been updated to remove the references to sign-ups. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I recommend keeping an eye on our News and Release Notes pages for any updates.
Regarding your point about large projects, would you mind expanding on this? Are these Studio prototypes that you're referring to?
Thanks, Archie!
Best,
Raynor
