Inspect mode does not work and shows "Publish direct from your design tool to use Inspect"

When we show the inspect mode on InVision Cloud, some designs show "Publish direct from your design tool to use Inspect" message. It happened sometimes. To fix it, we re-sync the designs through Craft & Sketch and then we can use inspect mode. However, we do not know why it happens. Could you help me?


When we were not able to use inspect mode, the following screen showed.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out today, and I'm sorry to hear you're running into troubles accessing Inspect mode for certain screens in your project.

This screen should only appear when projects haven't been uploaded via Craft, so we'd like to investigate further into what's going wrong here.

  • What is the name of the project, and the names of the screens that are not inspectable?
  • What operating system are you using? Please include the version (e.g. macOS 10.13.3 or Windows 10).
  • What version of Sketch/Photoshop and version of the Craft plugins are you using?


Once we have those details, we'll be able to dig deeper into this issue.
