Merging multiple prototypes into one flow.

Hi, Is there a way to merge different prototypes into one?

I will try to explain what I want to achieve:

I created multiple prototypes using invision Studio (windows 10), now I am at a point where I want to create a home page screen that links to different sections of the website I am prototyping. Say I have Proto1, Proto2 and Proto3. I am creating the home page prototype that has links/buttons, when the user clicks on, say Proto1 I want to be able to show/redirect to Proto1 with all it's artboards and interactions.

 

is this even possible? I am unable to import prototypes, or copy and past them.

Hi Mawaheb,

So sorry to hear that you’re running into this issue! 

I would expect that you'd be able to combine your projects by copying the artboards from Protos 2 & 3 into Proto 1. To help us dig into this further, could you please provide some further details on this?

  • Could you please provide any screenshots or a recording showing the issue you're having with copy/pasting? 
  • Which version of Studio are you running?
  • Could you please send screenshots of both the “Device specifications” and the “Windows specifications” sections from your computer's “About” page. To grab that info, click the Start (Windows icon) button, and then click Settings > System > About.

Hello Raynor, Thanks for your reply.
I was just able now to copy a whole prototype and paste it into a second one!! seems like a restart of my computer has fixed the issue!!
