InVision V7 randomly re-ordering screens within a set?!

TL:DR: InVision (V7) has mysteriously reordered the 38 screens in a specific set in my prototype from 1-38 to this: 2,3,4,13,14,15,16,24,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,35,36,37,33,34,38,1,25,18,19,20,21,17,5,6,7,8,18,19,9,10,11,12. I have no idea why these screens were re-ordered this way; I was editing hotspots on some the screens when this occurred. This is the third this has happened today. Longer version: Greetings! Semi-veteran InVision user here. I've been encountering what seems to be a very random bug over the past 2 days, wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Here's the situation: I am working in an InVision (V7) prototype. The prototype has screens organized into about 17 sets. When working with a few of these sets, when I am editing or creating hotspots, for some unknown reason, the screens in that set will be thrown COMPLETELY out of order. (I can easily tell this because my screens are named with sequential numbers). For example, right now I can see that 17 of the 38 screens in this particular set have somehow been moved to a position AFTER what should be the final screen in my sequence. So instead of my screens being ordered numerically 1-38, they are now ordered: 2,3,4,13,14,15,16,24,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,35,36,37,33,34,38,1,25,18,19,20,21,17,5,6,7,8,18,19,9,10,11,12 FWIW, there are ~ 250 screens in 17 sets in this prototype. It happened to us this morning. We found all of our 260 screens in random disorder, just before a test.

Thanks for reaching out to InVision Support! I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with your screen order, but I'll be happy to troubleshoot this with you. 

To get a better idea of what's happening on your end, I'd like to gather some more information. 

  • Could you please send through some screenshots or a screen recording showing this issue occurring?
  • If you try accessing this project via a private/incognito window, do the screens display correctly? 
  • Could you please send through the a share link for the affected prototype, if possible? 

This information will help us dig into this issue further. Looking forward to your reply!

Hi Camille! I 'm already tracking a private support ticket for it, just wanted to give a heads-up to Lee Costic that it happened to more people, and hopefully link both cases, when you guys analyze them. I think it is such a critical emergence that we users probably try to fix by ourselves as soon as we find it, so it is very unlikely that we keep the prototype as we found it before your support. I think looking for common factors to our cases might help finding their cause :)
