No scroll bar in mobile prototype

When I upload a screen to view it as a mobile prototype, I'm not getting a scroll bar. So I can't scroll down the design. When I first signed up it worked but now it doesn't. See file attached. No scroll bar on the right. I can't scroll up and down.

What am I doing wrong? It's a 320 pixel width jpg. Not even 1Mb in size.

Even screen I had previously uploaded and had worked don't work now.

Hi,

Apologies for the difficulty you're having.
To be able to understand better, could you send a screenshot of the studio file itself?

Regards,
Wurah.

It's just a jpg 320 pixels wide. I've tried a shorter one but that didn't help. The file I used is attached.

Hi Stuart,

I think a solution might be:

  • First create a custom artboard; since you selected the iphone, just use it as your default.
  • Copy or paste the image into the artboard.
You'll find out that only a part of the image is visible as expected.
  • Make sure the part visible is the top of the image.
  • Then adjust your artboard to reveal the parts not visible.
  • Upload and check if it works fine now.

The trick here is first creating a standard sized artboard then adjusting it to suit all the information you want to be visible.
If this doesn't work feel free to pop more questions.

Regards,
Wurah.

I'm not sure what you mean by create a custom artboard.

I'm creating a prototype, then choosing the format (website or iPhone) I choose iPhone X. Then upload the file.

Not sure how I'm supposed to adjust the artboard. Or where I find that.
