Hotspots

Hi Tim,

Sorry to hear that you're running into some issues with your hotspots. To get a better idea of exactly what's going on, can you please provide the following details?:

1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview
2. Your browser details which you can find here
3. How are you creating your prototype (ie. Sketch synced with Craft, built in InVision Cloud)?
   2a. If synced via Craft, can you please provide your Craft Manager and Sketch or Photoshop version numbers?
4. Can you please provide a screencast or screenshot(s) showing what's going wrong with your hotspots?

Hi, i'm having the same situation, following the instructions here go the screenshots:

3. Yes, i'm using Sketch and Craft to upload. I also tried the Build mode directly in Invision, but still didn't work.

4. If I upload it, the hot spots move and there is a strange space created at the end of the screen that, just moves the whole thing. The hot spot should be on the button, but it moves and adds a grey space. If I do it through Build mode in Invision, it has the same result. Btw those scroll bars look terrible on an app prototype, and there is no way to get rid of them.

If you could help me out, it is really appreciated.

Hey Sofia, 

Oh no! I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing these troubles.

After some further testing, I believe you might have the "Show scroll bars" setting set to "Always" under Mac's System Preference > General menu.

I'm curious if you have these same issues if you go to System Preference > General and change this setting to "When scrolling"?

I'm having the same issues. I'm dragging in PNGS that were created in AdobeXD. Top nav template is aligned from the top and the footer aligned to the bottom. They are exact measurements, but keep shifting up and have to be manually dragged down repeatedly. This corrects the hotspots globally until they shift out of place again.

Could you please provide me with the following information, so we can take a closer look into why this is occurring:

• What are the names of the affected prototypes?
• What browser and operating system are you using? You can get these details by going to http://www.whatsmybrowser.org/, clicking “Copy”, and pasting the link it gives you here.
• Does this behavior continue if you access your projects in an incognito window? How about with an alternate browser?
• Could you provide a screenshot showing what’s going wrong?

Once we have those details, we'll be able to investigate further into this issue for you.
