Scroll bars

Within invisionapp for mobile play mode I am now seeing vertical scroll bars. Can these be removed / hidden.

Thanks for reaching out here in Community about this desired behavior in Preview mode. While it's not currently possible to hide the scroll bars in Preview, this is a feature request that we're currently tracking interest for.

This has started to display for me as well.  I placed a ticket.  It seems InVision is stating this is a new feature.  But, the scroll bars only started appearing for me yesterday.  It definitely should NOT be a new feature request if this was already working before.  It's extremely frustrating and ridiculous.  I haven't received any follow-up on my ticket either.  It's kind of like saying yes, your car used to have tires, but now it's considered a new feature.  Why would scroll bars ever appear in a mobile prototype???  I uploaded from Sketch to my personal project account and it displays correctly there without the scroll bars.  Cloud v7 seems to be a joke as I work more and more with it.

This is bad and we only picked this up when demo to a potential client and the first comment from them is why do we have scrolling bars on a mobile? It totally spoils the aesthetics and they should at least have an option to hide

So sorry for the misunderstanding here, Peter and Farhan. After taking a closer look at this with some of my colleagues, it appears as if what you're encountering may be an issue that was recently logged with our Engineering team.

With that being said, I'd like to test a few things out to see if this is indeed the case for you. It looks like one of our Support agents is already working with Peter on this issue. To get a better idea why this is happening, could you provide the following information, Farhan?: 

  1. Could you provide a screenshot showing these scroll bars?
  2. If you're able to do so publicly, could you include a share link to this Project?
  3. Are you noticing these scrollbars on the InVision Cloud desktop app, Mobile app, or both?

Once I have these details, I'll get the information passed along to our Support team for further investigation. Thanks for reporting this and for following up!

I have met the same issue these days which I haven't seen before. The scroll bar appears on the web browser only on all the mobile device types. Please see the screenshot below:

Hi Qing,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out here in Community to report your issue. As mentioned above, the reports above have been linked to a known issue where long screens in V7 Mobile prototypes show a grey vertical and horizontal scroll bar and duplicated Fixed Footer in Preview. Our Support and Engineering teams are looking into this.

To make sure that you're running into the same, I would like to open a ticket on your behalf with our Support team. They will be able to confirm that you're running into this same issue, and keep you in the loop regarding any fixes. Please look out for an email from one of our Support agents soon.
