InVision Boards rearranges and overwrites images after upload

Several times I experienced that a Board rearranges and overwrites images after the upload finishes (the blue circle in the top right stops spinning and hides).

After extensive troubleshooting I found out that sporadically, if an image filename is identical to an already uploaded one, the Board swaps them.

So make sure you use unique filenames.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to look into this for you. Just to confirm, are the images in your board rearranged when you add a new image? If so, could I ask you to access the board using an incognito/private window to see if the same issue occurs? Let us know the results.

If the same happens with an incognito window, could you provide the following details:

  1. What browser and operating system are you using? You can get these details by going to http://www.whatsmybrowser.org/, clicking “Copy”, and pasting the link it gives you here.
  2. Does the same happen with other browsers as well?
  3. Could you provide a screencast or screenshot(s) showing the issues that you're encountering?
  4. Could you confirm what layout style you have set for this Board?
  5. Are you experiencing the same issue with other Boards?

This information will help us troubleshoot and take a closer look into what might be going on. I look forward to your response!

Thanks in advance,

Shaina
