Craft Plugin (for Sketch) showing blank screen when going to Sign In or Preferences

Hello!

 

I am using Sketch v 51.3 running on a Macbook Pro (15-inch, OS Sierra). I downloaded the Craft plugin and installed but when I go to sync and I need to Sign In to my InVision account or even look at Preferences, the Craft screen goes blank. And unless there's an 'x' on the screen at top, I can't even go back to the main screen.

 

What do I do? What could the issue be?

 

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing (including deleting all Application Support files/folders).

Hi Lubna,

Sorry you're experiencing this! In order to help you troubleshoot this issue could you provide me with a screenshot or video of when the screen goes blank?

I would also suggest updating Sketch to the newest version (66.1) and trying to recreate this issue. Hopefully that will fix it!

I am facing a similar issue where the craft login screen just goes blank. Unfortunately I cannot update sketch due an older OS. I tried to uninstall and reinstall craft, that doesn't seem to solve the problem. Could you help out here.

Sorry to see that you're having issues with Craft Manager on your Mac, Nirav. To clarify, Craft Manager only supports the two most recent non-beta versions of Sketch. Can you please let us know what version of Sketch you're currently using?

I have been using sketch 50.2, can't upgrade since the OS is a bit older. Craft worked beautifully till a month ago, not sure what happened there.

Sorry to hear that you're also running into these issues. To get a better idea of what's causing this, can you please provide the following information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview.
  2. The version of Sketch that you're using.
  3. A screenshot or video showing the issue you're running into.

Please note that we only support the latest 2 non-Beta versions of Sketch. Otherwise, you will continue to run into issues.
