Assets not visible in Invision Inspect

I am facing issues with viewing & extracting the assets from my files using Invision Inspect. Most of the the assets are icons in SVG format and 1 have a couple of PNGs. However, none of them are showing up in the "assets" panel except the Logo. I tried to find the difference but unable to find as all icons including logo are

-  SVGs & Symbols

Some are nested symbols and overrides but the ones which are not either of this are also not visible as assets.

For reference, I am using Sketch v65.1 and Craft plugin 1.0.96.

Pl. advise why this could be happening.Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Anita,

Thanks so much for reaching out! In order for assets to show in Inspect they'd first have to be made Exportable in Sketch then synced. To add assets from Sketch, mark the desired layer as exportable in Sketch. Then sync your prototype to InVision Cloud using Craft Sync. After doing so, you should notice the assets in the Assets tab.

Now if this had already been done and assets still didn't show, we'll need to troubleshoot further. We sometimes see odd behavior when the browser's local files associated with InVision become outdated or corrupted. To further troubleshoot this issue, please first sign in to InVision via an incognito or private browsing window.

If you are able to access your assets in Inspect in an incognito session, we can confirm you’ll need to clear that data (cache and cookies) from your browser. For help doing that, please see Clearing your browser's cache and cookies for more detail. Once cleared as per the instructions, please restart your browser and attempt to perform the InVision action again. If you're still having trouble after that, please do let us know.

If you still have trouble in an incognito browser, please let us know which browser and version you are using and if any other browsers are having issues as well.

Cheers,

Shaina

Hi Shaina,

Thanks very much for the response. Marking the assets as 'exportable' showed up the assets in Invision. So that was something I overlooked, thanks for pointing that out. However, I marked my icons as exportable and they are showing up as assets only in the screen I marked them so. I was expecting them to show up assets in all the screens they were used. Pl. let me know if my expectation is right and there is some other way to mark symbols as exportable.

Thanks,

Anita

Glad to hear that information helped, Anita! To get a better idea of the behavior you're currently seeing, could you send us a screenshot or screencast showing this assets issue?

A screencast would be extremely helpful in order to see the process that you're currently going through and the end result. If you're unable to share a screencast, can you please explain the process you're currently going through step-by-step?

Look forward to hearing back,

Shaina
