Can't open ._Material Design UI Kit.studio

HI,

I've downloaded the ._Material Design UI Kit.studio from the website but I can't open it.

No error but when I try to open it nothing happens.

 

Did you know how to fix it?

Thanks for reporting this issue here in Community! In order to determine what's causing this issue, can you please provide the following information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview or other OS details.
  2. The version of Studio that you're running.
  3. Are you seeing just a blank screen? Can you please provide a screencast or screenshot displaying the issue?
  4. Is this issue happening with any other UI Kits?
  5. Can you please provide the link from which you downloaded the UI Kit from?

  2. Are you seeing just a blank screen? Can you please provide a screencast or screenshot displaying the issue? Nothing, see attached. 
  1. Is this issue happening with any other UI Kits? Havent tried but can't launch the app store as well
  2. Can you please provide the link from which you downloaded the UI Kit from? https://www.invisionapp.com/inside-design/design-resources/studio-material-design-ui-kit/

Hi Amelie,

Thanks so much for providing those details! It helpful to know that your App Store is not working as well.

Sometimes we see issues like this resolved with a complete relaunch of Studio. Can you please try the following to see if this resolves your UI Kit and App Store issues?:

  1. Sign out then back into Studio
  2. Completely quit and relaunch Studio
  3. Restart your Windows machine and relaunch Studio
  4. If you have access to another Mac machine, does the same problem occur on a different computer? 

Please let me know if you continue to encounter issues have performing the steps above.

Hi,

I've already done those steps (and even uninstall and reinstall invision) but still the same issues. (the App store is even more annoying)

Unfortunately I can't access another PC/Mac for now.

Before passing this over to our Support team to troubleshoot more in depth with you, can you send over a screenshot of what you are seeing when opening the app store? Is it a "something went wrong" error or something else?
