Freehand upload errors

Hello, I'm having trouble uploading artboards from studio to freehand. Very often I get a connection error with a quite generic error message:

I cannot understand why it happens, After a successful upload, all other updates are not successful. Is there a way to troubleshoot connection problems ?

Os version: MacOS 10.15.4
Sutdio: 1.28.1

Best,
Gianluigi

Hi Gianluigi,

Sorry to see that you're still encountering this issue. Did you happen to see my response to your comment about this here in this other Community thread

As mentioned in my response to your other comment, our Support team will likely need to take a look specifically at your file and account in which you're encountering this.

We've seen a similar error happen when trying to publish when you're at your document limit (which is 3 for the Free account). Would it be possible for you to delete one your projects, then sign out of Studio, close and reopen Studio, sign in, and try to publish again?

Alternatively, you can also upgrade to a free trial of Professional, if that is an option, please do that and then sign out of Studio, close and reopen Studio, sign back in and try to publish.

Once we have those details, I'll pass this along to our Support team so they can help get this sorted.

Thanks!

Shaina

Hello Shaina, I need a clarification, the number of freehand documents is limited to 3 for the free plan ? According to https://support.invisionapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027856991 the number of freehand projects published should be unlimited. I'm a bit confused about the plans/pricing.

I tried logging out/in again, In my home I have 1 space, 3 documents, no board, no prototype. but still I got the error. I will try to upgrade to pro and let you know.

Hey Gianluigi,

It's Mike from InVision Support here. I saw your message and figured I would chime in!

After taking a quick peek into your account, it looks like you might be referring to an article that's not relevant to the account you're on. I'd suggest taking a look at this article to get a better idea what options you have on your Free account.

With that being said, each of our Free plans allow for 3 active projects total. Currently, you have 4 projects and will need to archive 1 of them in order to get past this message. Feel free to checkout how to do this here.

I sure hope this helps clear things up a bit. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Best,

Mike
