Viewport does not render right.

I have galaxy note 9, and I like to use the invision studio to see my design on my own screen and device. It seems that the viewport for note 9 is 360 X 740, but when I run it through my own invision app on my phone, it does not stretching across the whole screen. I need to use a width of 414 and give the artboard more height. On figma, for example, is ok, but when I use a width of 414px on figma mirror, it is too wide for my screen. Why those differences from one app to another?

Thank you for reaching out here in Community! I'm sorry to hear about the discrepancies you've been running into when mirroring your screens in Studio. To help me understand a bit better what might be causing this, could you please share a few additional details?

  1. Could you please share a couple of screenshots, comparing the screen as you see it in Studio and the mirrored version in your Galaxy Note 9?
  2. Which Studio version are you using?
  3. Which InVision mobile app version are you using on your phone?

Hello Laura.

I'm using the latest version of studio and the mobile app (I'm aware that the mobile app is still in beta in android).

Not sure why but it looks like that if I want to mirroring my app than I need to design higher than x1 (360 x 740). 

on other apps 360 x 740 works fine when using their mirroring app.

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide that information. I hate to be a bother, but can you please provide some more details?:

  1. The version number for the version of Studio that you're running
  2. The version number for the version of the InVision Android app that you're using
  3. Your mobile device's OS details
  4. Could you confirm if this happens when mirroring any other Studio files?
  5. Do you see any difference if you un/re-install the InVision mobile app?
  6. Are you receiving any error messages? If so, can you please provide a screenshot?

I apologize for the redundancy. As soon as we have this information, we can do some further troubleshooting.
