BUG v-scroll behaviour on inspect mode

hello,

Everytime I am about to view a MockUp of our UX team in the "inspect mode"

and try to scroll down the cursor's pointer turns into ew-resize and I am no longer able to use

the scrol bar, it also doesn't let me scroll vertically, using the arrow keys.

This basically makes it impossible to view/re-view the MockUps.

 

Browser used: FF 75.0 (64-Bit)

Hey Tobias, 

Mike from InVision Support here. I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing these troubles with the Inspect scroll bar. 

After testing this out, I was unable to replicate this same behavior. However, we would like get a better idea why this is happening and was hoping you could provide the following details: 

  1. Does this happen with any size of project or does this happen to be with larger sized files? For example, does this happen with a project with only 1 screen?
  2. Can you scroll by holding down space bar, then click+drag around the screen?  

 

Once I have these details, we will be better suited to dive deeper into this investigation together.

In the meantime, we sometimes see odd behavior like this when the browser's local files associated with InVision become outdated or corrupted and would suggest opening a private/incognito window to see if this problem persists. 

If it does help, I'd suggest clearing that data (cache and cookies) from your browser. For help doing that, please see Clearing your Browser's Cache and Cookies for more detail. Once cleared as per the linked instructions, please restart your browser and attempt to scroll around Inspect.

Thank you for the reply.

1. It happens on all kinf of projects, regardless the size or # of screens

2. This option is available to me, yes

Today I also tested it on Chrome with the same result

I cleared the cache multiple times, no effect.

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for providing this additional information. Our sincere apologies for the trouble here 😞​.  This appears to be related to a known issue that our Engineering team is currently investigating. 

I will open a ticket on your behalf with our Support team so they can confirm whether or not what you're experiencing is related to the known issue. Please look for an email from one of our Support agents soon.

In the meantime, the only workaround we can offer is to hold down the space bar and clicking+dragging around the screen or use the scroll/trackpad on the mouse instead. Again, we are sorry for the trouble!
