Instead of using the DSM window in sketch, I'd like to export everything in my DSM to a sketch library. Is there any way to do it other than dragging and dropping all the symbols one by one?
Have you find any update or solution for that?
Yeah! I stopped using DSM :D
I ended up having to manually make a sketch library and am using that for now. We're thinking about transitioning to zeroheight. Thanks, Invision, for no help at all!
Hi Maris and Bahamin,
First, I want to apologize for the lack of Support on your original post, Maris! I'm really bummed to see that this got missed.
We are currently tracking a feature request for the ability to export DSM Libraries to a workable Sketch file. We've received similar feedback from other users saying that this would be particularly helpful for users who may want an offline copy of their Design Library which can be linked up as a Sketch Library.
That being said, I'm happy to open tickets on each of your behalf to track your interest for this potential feature. If you're still interested in this, please let me know and I will get those tickets opened.
Again, I'm so sorry for the oversight on the original post and I hope that we can make things right!
Yes please Shaina ! It's an important feature to us speeding up our design process, specially for our new comers joining the team as well as working more effectively offline.
You got it! I will open tickets on each of your behalf to track you interest in this potential feature. Please keep an eye out for an email confirming we've formally tracked your feedback.
Again, I'm really sorry for the oversight and I'm glad we're getting this taken care of now.
Have a great day,
What if the library could be kept locally and then used to keep the DSM updated automatically? This would kill 2 birds with one stone.
Thanks for following up with that additional feedback, Maris. In the New DSM, we fully support Sketch libraries, which means that library data is now kept locally!
However, we have steered away from automatically updating DSM at the request of the majority of DSM users. The feedback we've received from most users is that they prefer to deliberately update their DSM Web libraries once they're happy with all of the changes they've made.
Hope this helps clear some things up,
