How has the current CoronaVirus (COVID-19) pandemic affected you, your work and life?

Hi All

The question I am asking comes from a behavioural perspective. It has been interesting to see how countries, companies and people are addressing this pandemic. I would honestly like to know how it has affected you, your work and life?

For us, it has not hit us as hard as yet, but it is spreading very quickly. I know already the feeling of schools closing, and remote work has come up in the media. Still, for instance, the company I am at is very hesitant to allow people to work from home even at a later stage as they want delivery. But again, it is early days for us.

Also, in terms of life, just yesterday, I went to the grocery store, and there is no more hand sanitizers or soaps that I usually buy as per my usual grocery purchases. Makes me wonder what people have been doing before.

This pandemic is going to or has influence our lives quite a bit, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all those that are in the profoundly affected areas all the best and prayers.

This is a very good topic Mikele,

This pandemic has influenced us one way or the other. As for me it hasn't really affected my work at all. I still go to work and do the normal. The only difference is just that there are hand sanitizer everywhere around the office.

I hope this pandemic dosen't get to us and our loved ones and my prayers and good wishes are with those in the affected areas.

Have a great day everyone.

It's actually amazing. A wise person once said, when the world is contracting, that is the time to expand yourself. If you talk about me, I am taking a break from the office work. But at the same time I am back to my personal design skills and creating networks among designers on Linkedin. If you have an internet connection, you can easily see the demand for the designers has increased within the last few weeks.

My friend, if you're giving yourself excuses at this point of time, you are doing the wrong thing. It's time to learn a new skill. It is time to expand and learn. It is time to take over the world. It's time to provide value which others can't provide right now. It is time to give yourself the skill set and be brave and support your family both emotionally and financially.
