Cannot open Inspect tool

Does anyone has problems opening the inspect tool in InVision? I get a screen where it asks me to install Craft Plugin but  the issue is I already have it.

Also it's really not cool for developers to have this plugin installed so they can inspect the mock-ups.

Hey Loredana,

Sorry to see that you're running into issues with using Inspect. To determine why you're getting this message when attempting to use Inspect, can you please provide some additional details?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview
  2. The version of Sketch/Photoshop that you're using
  3. The version of Craft Manager that you're running

To address your comment about developers needing the Craft plugin installed in order to use Inspect - can you please identify what you think would make this a better experience?

Some developers are already hard to convince in adopting another tool in their work life (I had some difficulties in convincing some in my company to use InVision inspect tool) so I don't get why it is needed to have the Craft plugin installed to inspect mocks when it was just fine the way it used to work without Craft plugin. It is perfectly fine for a designer to use craft but I don't see why is necessary for devs to have it as well.

Thank you so much for sharing those details!

To clarify, your developers do not need to install Craft in order to access Inspect. Craft is needed to generate Inspect data, and this error message appears when Inspect data hasn't been generated. Since you're already syncing your screens with Inspect, it seems that something is blocking Inspect data.

From your screenshots, we can confirm that this issue isn't being caused by an outdated version. Could you please sync your screens once again, and let us know if Inspect still fails to load after that?
