Hope you are doing well.
Neumorphism has its place in the design world, especially in visual elements. It really does bring a new and fresh dynamic. Always great to figure out new ways to draw in people.
However, when it comes to UX, it will have challenges that need to be fleshed out more, especially in the accessibility realm. I feel people will showcase fascinating behaviours that may not play well with the intended application or product.
No doubt, this will be an interesting journey, and I am looking forward to seeing what others do with it.
Are you currently exploring this in your work? and if so, can you share in what aspect?
Thank you Mikele,
I am good.
This would be an interesting journey, True! I also thought about the cost of development of most of this applications.
I am slowly trying to inculcate the trend in my design projects - bit by bit -. This is because, most user who are non techies are not even aware of this sort trend, and thinking of them, we'd obviously throw them off balance when the happen to meet an application like that, most.
So I am starting out with introducing them into buttons and alerts. Would gain insights and pick up from there.
