Can't Install Craft - Only One Instance At A Time

Hello, I've tried downloading and re-downloading Craft a few times but can never actually get it to install.


After I move it into applications and try to open it, I keep getting this message:

After working with our Support team, Katherine was able to solve this problem by performing the following steps:

  1. Open Finder and ensure that Craft is in your Applications folder
  2. Search Finder to ensure there isn't another copy in a different location. If there is another copy, delete the extra copy.
  3. Now that you've deleted the second copy, restart your computer
  4. After restarting, open Finder and ensure that there is still only one instance of Craft, and that it is in your applications folder. You should now able to launch Craft without this error.
  5. Now that its installed, once you initially launch Craft, it would be available in your top tools bar to install the plugin for Craft/Photoshop as seen here:
