Text style appearing with asterisk when importing symbol

Problem: When I import a component from the DSM library and look deep into the symbols, the text style for the label is appearing with an asterisk indicating that it has been altered from the default/intended text style.

Question: Why is this happening?

Concern: Future updates to that default/intended style may not automatically update this label's text style which means I need to take extra steps to go through the symbols to ensure it is up to date. Adding to the effort of maintenance.

Should use default style (no change to text settings)

Hi Donna,

First, I want to thank you for always taking the time to provide such clear and detailed reports of the issues you're encountering. After taking a closer look, it appears as if you may be encountering a known issue that our Engineering team is currently investigating where DSM Components containing Text Style overrides can incorrectly show with an asterisk (*), appearing to be unsaved/in need of an update. 

To be sure that this is the same issue, can you please provide some additional details?:

  1. The version of Craft Manager that you're running
  2. The version of DSM that you're running
  3. The version of Sketch that you're using
