Scrolling preview

The content of my page design is exceeding the page sizes so im trying to make the content scrollable in preview mode.

I have followed this: https://www.invisionapp.com/studio/learn/scrolling-artboards

But its not working when i set scrolling to vertical, has anyone encountered this before?

Thanks

Owen

Thanks for taking the time to chime in here as well, Halit! I've responded to your comment here with some follow up questions to get to the root of this issue.

If you could please provide the following information on this post, or the other one, that would be great!:

  1. A screenshot of your PC's OS details.
  2. The version of Studio that you're using.
  3. What version of mobile iOS are you on?
  4. Are you viewing the prototype via the native InVision app? If so, what version of the app are you using?
  5. A screencast or screenshot(s) displaying the issue.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Shaina

Hi Owen,

This should work. Ensure that all things are working fine and try again.

I was wondering if you've been able to resolve the issue on your own as I've never encountered such.

Have a great day.
Kayode.

Owen Hughes I have got the exact same problem. I am working on the exercise file of the video you provided in the link, but in preview mode the content doesn't scroll. I tried overriding settings to iphone and still have the same issue

Shaina Torgerson Hi!I gathered all the information you asked for and created the screenshots explaining the problem throughly as much as I can. Answers of questions 1.2.3 and 5 provided with the screenshots. For the question 4 I don't understand what you aimed for by the "native InVision app". I just downloaded the latest version, and you can see which version I am using in the screenshots. Hope this helps.

Thanks for providing those details, Halit! Sorry for the confusion on question 4. What I meant here is if you're viewing the prototype via the InVision mobile app, or via your mobile browser.:

  1. If viewing on the InVision mobile app, can you please provide the version of the app that you're running?
  2. If viewing in your mobile browser, can you please provide your mobile browser details?

Thanks again for following up,

Shaina

I had a similar problem on Windows.   What kinda solved it for me was to set the Viewport height.  This is located in the preview section of the Artboard properties.

The reason I say that it kinda fixed things is that for some art-boards the vertical scroll works as expected.  The pin item stays where I pinned it and the rest of the screen scroll under the pinned area.  However for other art-boards the scrolling now works but the non-pinned areas scroll over the pin area (my guess is some kind of Z order problem).

Anyway, you might want to try setting the Viewport height manually.
