How to combine a time trigger and a tap trigger

I want to have a loop animation between 2 artboards that also contain a button. However, when I add a timed event from one artboard to another (and vice versa) to loop the animation and add a tap event on a button that is also on the artboard, the tap trigger doesn't seem to work. Is there a method or workaround for this?

Hi Lucas,

Thanks for taking the time to write into Community to share your feedback about this. While there wouldn't currently be a way to have an active hotspot during a timed transition, this is actually a feature that our Support and Product teams are already tracking interest for.

I will open a ticket on your behalf to track your interest for this potential feature. Please keep an eye out for an email indicating that we’ve formally tracked your feedback.

Have a great day,
Michael

NOTE: If anybody else would like to add their feedback about this potential feature, please fill out a ticket with Support here detailing the feature you are looking for.

Hi Lucas,

A good workaround would be to reduce the duration of the timer transition.

This is because for the current animation sequence on Studio, a transition must elapse before another is triggered.

The trick would be reducing the time duration to a value that would make both transitions look as though they worked at once.
