I've stayed away from Invision studio for a while due to it's buggy program. BUT unfortunately I am forced to use IVStudio because 'fixed elements' just don't work in Sketch (seriously, such a basic feature and it doesn't work...amazing).
Summary: What I want is basic, yet seems to be annoyingly hard to accomplish: A FIXED top navigation and bottom navigation bar (think android bottom nav) that stays on the bottom of the screen, does not scroll along with its underlying content. Apparently, this feature isn't in Sketch, and I was pointed towards IVS for this to work. So here we are: Me, trying to import my .sketch file into IVS ....but nope! Of course this doesn't work 'easy' like the IVS studio video made it seem..
Problem: When I import my sketch file, half the screens are OK, but the rest is totally wrong, meaning symbols are reset to this original structure, coloring and such (picture 2)
Expected result: When importing a .sketch file with a topnav containing 3 buttons where one is active (so has a different color and bolded text), 2 buttons are base and one is active. This would be perfect and expected right?!
Actual Result: Importing a .sketch file with a top navigation with 3 icons (Home, Products, Profile) and one being active/highlighted (say Home), it does not import that state/Active button, it just resets its symbol to base (so no active icon). Which basically will force a designer to do this AGAIN (so in sketch and in IVS) which will literally take days to do (hundreds of screens!!!!)
Wish: I just simply put, want IVS to copy/clone the sketch file, not do its own import idea's or resetting stuff to base states.
Extra annoyance: I get an error 'issues importing your file' with a long string of text, which I cannoy select/copy...meaning I have to retype the whole error message...#FFS
