BUG: Zooming with CTRL+[mouse wheel] jumps in large increments

In Invision Studio for Windows, when using CTRL+[mouse wheel] to zoom in and out, the zooming occurs in large increments. It is now impossible to do fine level zooming.  When I zoom out, I'm zoomed out too much. When I zoom in, I'm zoomed in too far.

It's driving me nuts!!!!  It worked perfectly in earlier releases and I don't understand how such a frequently used feature could be broken like this without anyone noticing.

This bug started when I upgraded to 1.23.1 and still exists in 1.24.0.

UPDATE

We are very sorry for the troubles earlier with the Scroll to Zoom shortcuts in Studio being too sensitive and zooming in and out too fast. We're happy to report that our engineers have identified the source of the issue and have released the fix.

Please update to the latest version of Studio and give this another try:

  • Mac: ⌘ Scroll or cmd+Scroll
  • Windows: ⌃ Scroll or ctrl+Scroll

Please let us know if you're still having any problems with the Scroll to Zoom shortcuts. Our sincere apologies for the delay and many thanks for your patience while we worked to fix this issue.

Also, for the full list of Studio shortcuts, please see our Help Center article: Are there keyboard shortcuts for Studio?

Hi Gowski,

I'm sorry to hear you're running into some trouble with the zoom scroll in the most recent version of Studio!

I noticed that one of our Support agents has followed up on your ticket with some troubleshooting questions, but the ticket was closed out on your end. Could you please let us know if you'd like us to continue investigating this for you?

Can you please send a screenshot of your operating system information? We need to see both the “Device specifications” and the “Windows specifications” sections on the “About” page. To grab that info, click the Start (Windows icon) button, and then click Settings > System > About.

Also if possible could you provide a screencast showing how this functionality is working on your end?

Once we have those details, we can dig deeper to help get this sorted.

Cheers,

Camille

Same here. On my corporate windows PC I just cant download and install anything.

My single scroll (zooming out) ends in zoom 0% -- very annoying. Please fix in the Chrome browser version (Version 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build) (64-bit))

Thanks.
