Craft Isn't Showing Up After Installation

I've installed and reinstalled craft on windows a few times now. Each time the installation goes off with no error messages, but afterwards I cant find any trace of it on my computer. Not only is it not showing up on photoshop, but I can't even find it when running a search.

Hey Daniel,

So sorry to hear that you're having troubles running Craft for Photoshop. Can you please provide some additional details so we can take a closer look at this?:

  1. The version of Craft you've installed
  2. Your OS details for your Windows machine
  3. The version of Photoshop that you're running
  4. Are you receiving any error messages?

Look forward to hearing from you,

Shaina

Sure!

I just used the latest version of craft installer and craft installer-win .

Using Windows 10 Home

Photoshop CC 2019

No error messages whatsoever. Just no signs of anything being installed after the installer completes.

Today we encountered the exact same problem and failure after we installed Craft Manager on multiple PC workstations (with a very similar specs as the above mentioned computer has: Win 10 Enterprise / Pro, Photoshop 2019 / 2020). We use it in a daily basis on Macs company wide… Without any mayor issues or problems.

Hi Balazs,

Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this as well, but we really appreciate you chiming in. Would you mind if I asked a few more questions to help us troubleshoot on your behalf?

1. Are you receiving any error messages at all?

2. A screenshot of your GPU and Windows information

3. The version of Craft Manager that you’re running

Looking forward to your reply!

Best,
Ella

1. Nothing. Installation process ends with success without any errors.

2. I'm not able to share those infos because we experience it in several machines (all runs Windows 10 Enterprise edition with various configs)

3. Was a new install using the latest version downloaded right from your site.

Hi Balazs,

Thank you for providing those details. We really apologize for the inconvenience here, and hope to get you back up and running soon.

Before passing this onto our Support team for further investigation, can you please check a few things?:

  1. Can you confirm you have admin privileges on the machine you're downloading Craft to?
  2. Additionally, did you install Craft Sync while logged in as an Admin user on your Windows machines? This may be related to an open issue that our Engineering Team is investigating where non-Admin users are unable to install the Craft plugin for Photoshop.
  3. If you were logged in as a regular user, could you please test logging in as an Admin user and see if that allows you to install Craft Sync?

Looking forward to hearing back from you and to investigating further.

Best,

Shaina
