Compressing/stripping artwork metadata when uploading via Craft to Invision

Hey there,

I don't know if anyone else shares in this pain but everyday I seem to get horrid performance issues when using Invision in the afternoon (UK - GMT). Now we use Sketch as our preferred tool to design our artwork and then use Craft to prototype and upload the work to our projects on Invision. Once the artwork is in the Invision project the whole experience of prototyping on the website slows right down to a snails pace.

Is this down to Sketch and its bloated metadata attached to each of the exported pieces of artwork via Craft? If so are there any plans for Craft to give us the option to strip unwanted metadata when exporting, saving bandwidth by compressing the artwork images without losing quality?

Are there any performance issues with Invision prototyping tool with Sketch artwork?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome!

Hi Will,

So sorry to hear that you're running into performance issues with Craft for Sketch. We definitely want to get to the bottom of what might be causing this for you. I'd like to have our Support team take a closer look at this, but before sending it over to them, can you please provide some additional information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview or other OS details
  2. The version of Craft Manager that you're using
  3. The version of Sketch that you're using

Again, we apologize for the disruption that this is causing in your workflow and hope to get you some answer soon.

Look forward to hearing back,
