First Time Launching Studio, Freezes on Video Screen

Starting up Studio for the first time, it goes to the sign-in screen only to then load a video that won't play or respond to any clicks. My device's info and the screencap are below:

What's causing this? Thanks.

Similar issues, downloaded and installed studio for the first time and it's totally unresponsive.

I can only get to the login screen, but it doesn't respond to my clicks or typing.

Can't get past this screen.

Hi Christopher and Sarah,

Sorry to see that each of you are having issues accessing Studio. To get a better idea of what's going on here, can you each please provide the following information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview or other OS details (unless you've already provided this)
  2. The version of Studio that you're using
  3. Have you used Studio in the past without any issues, or is this the first time you're trying to use Studio?
3a. If this just started happening for you, and you've used Studio in the past, when did you start noticing the issue?

Look forward to hearing from you,

Shaina

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for follow up with those details. Since this is occurring from a fresh install, I'd like to have to try something. We've found that sometimes we'll see a reset of the startup parameters and it may display as a crash too, but the subsequent access to Studio will work as expected. Therefore, could you try running the application after a restart of your computer?

If that doesn't work, can I please ask that you try disabling Windows Defender (and any other AntiVirus), and reinstall Studio?

Looking forward to your reply!

Thank you,

Shaina

Hi Shaina,

Looks like one of the restarts I did yesterday fixed it. Thanks!
