Problems with Recording a Prototype

I'm currently using Apple's native Quicktime Player to record my InVision prototypes on my MacBook (since I'm not privy to any other freemium screen recording apps). However, previewing art boards, especially the animations, become so much laggy whenever I record the screen. I already tried lowering my screen's resolution to no avail. Any tips?

Thanks for reaching out here in Community about this. So that we can get a better idea of what might be causing this lag, can you please provide some additional information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview
  2. The version of Studio that you're running
  3. A screencast displaying the issues with lag

We have heard of others using Quicktime to record screencasts of their Studio projects, but have not yet seen reports of this issue. Additionally, we are tracking interest for the ability to record navigating through prototype animations in Studio Preview. If you're interested in this potential feature, please let me know and I'm happy to open a ticket to track your interest.

Hello John & Shaina, 

I'm facing the same issue. Animation is smooth only if studio is the only app opened. When I want to record my screen, it starts to lag badly.
It looks like some frames from the animation are missing. 

I'm attaching screens about my mac and invision version.
