I'm having trouble finding out how to make a button stay afloat or maintain its position while scrolling on InVision Studio.

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out! Glad to help with the pinning of a floating action button.

While in InVision Studio, you'll want to:

  1. Select the object you want to pin
  2. Click the "Fix Position" icon in the upper right hand of your tool panel. I've attached an image below of the icon and location.

Your element should now be fixed while you scroll along your artboard.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you are still having trouble after trying that.

Hi Mohammed,

You can create floating/fixed elements within prototypes built in the web app using transparency and fixed headers and footers.

You may find this article helpful: How do I create a fixed element using fixed headers or footers?

Hope that helps!
