Implement functionalities in one Art Board

Hey team...When I am trying to create a clickable prototype for every functionality we suppose to create new art board .Is there any way in Invison that we can perform all the functionalities in single art board and play around that?(or) Is that mandatory that we have to create Art Boards for each functionality and follow the direction how you create the interactions ?Please let me know...Thanks

Hi Rambhupal

Thanks for reaching out and appreciate the question.

I am assuming you are referring to InVision Studio so will answer inline with that.

Currently the way InVision works is that each art-board signifies a view, state and interactions. This is how the software is able to depict what state and interaction needs to happen in line with the intended flow which will be in view within the relevant device display.

On that note, I would like to share the following resources if you are interested:

These are really well put together and can give you a great foundation.

Hope this was helpful and let us know if we can help with anything else.

Stay awesome!

Hi Rampbhupal!

I second Michéle's suggestion to look at the article on advanced animation using motion. The other article is excellent too!

Right now, using multiple artboards is the standard in creating prototypes and animations, but I see where you're coming from. It creates a massive files with potentially hundreds of artboards. If you find a way to streamline your workflow please let us know!
