Multiple animations on one artboard

Just starting with InVision (and prototyping in general) and have a project with two horizontally scrolling elements on one screen - nav bar and an image carousel. I've figured out how to use motion interactions to create something of a swipe effect, but I don't know how to have both elements use this interaction, but only one at a time. What I mean is: the navigation swipe animates from state 1 (Artboard 1) to state 2 (artboard 2). The image carousel swipe animates from state 1 (artboard 1) to state 2 (artboard 2) - but if you do that, the nav bad has "mysteriously" changed, because of course you're now on artboard 2. Is there any way to swipe back and forth on the nav bar, and have the image carousel remain static/in state 1, and vice versa?

Hi Cassie,

I apologize for the delay in reply here. It sounds like what you're trying to accomplish here is not possible in Studio at this time.

We're currently tracking a feature request to allow for components to have multiple states in Studio. Does this sound like a feature that would benefit you?

If so, I'm happy to open a ticket on your behalf to track your interest for this. Please let me know, and I would be happy to help out some more.

Thanks for your patience,
