DSM not updating

The DSM is't updating when I click "sync to library."

I am working with 1 other designer and we are both set as admins. We have tried to both make a new symbol, add it to the DSM and then view both of those changes in the web version of the sDSM. When I click on the "sync library to document" button on my local file, I cannot see the symbol that my co-worker has made. It's strange that it appears on the web version, but not locally. Any tips?

Thanks for reaching out here in Community, and for opening a ticket with our Support team. It appears as if one of our Support agents has reached out with the following message:

  • As a first step, could you please confirm whether the elements you're attempting to update already exist as Sketch symbols in your document? Non-Symbol elements will not update using the "Sync library to document" button, and will need to be updated manually.

    If the elements that are failing to update are already existing as symbols, and the above does not resolve things, I'd like to gather some further details:
  1. Could you please send through some screenshots or a screen recording showing the steps you're taking to sync your updated library to your Sketch file, and the discrepancies/issues you're seeing? 
  2. Could you please confirm which versions of Sketch and Craft Manager you're using? 
  3. Could you also confirm the version for the DSM plugin? You can find this by clicking the Craft "C" icon in your menu bar, going to the "Tools" panel and mousing over "Design System Manager" to reveal the version number.
  4. Could you please send through the affected Sketch file?
