Unable to Switch Libraries or Right Click on MacOS 10.15 Beta(19A471t)

I've encounter a problem with updating the DSM through Sketch while on MacOS 10.15 Beta(19A471t). The drop down arrows to switch between different Libraries does not work. Right-clicking on a component also does not bring up additional options. I can't delete any colors or groups. Rearranging works.

I've tried:

  • Restarting my Mac
  • Checked that I am on the latest firmware on both Craft and Sketch
  • Logging out and logging back in
  • Logging into an Admin account for my current team

Hi Erin,

So sorry for the troubles that you're encountering with DSM. To get a better understanding of what might be causing this, can you please provide some additional information?:

  1. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview
  2. The version number of DSM that you're using
  3. The version number of Craft Manager that you're running
  4. The version number of Sketch that you're using
  5. A screencast or screenshot displaying the issues that you're seeing

Look forward to hearing back and helping your get this sorted out!

Best,

Shaina

Thanks for providing those details, Erin! To find your DSM version number, hover over the "Design System Manager" plugin in your Craft toolbar as seen below:

Neat! It's 1.1.22, same as your screenshot.

Awesome! Appreciate you taking the time to get that information together.

I would like for one of our Support agents to troubleshoot a bit more with you, and will be opening a ticket on your behalf. Please keep an eye out for an email from one of our Support agents soon.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do in the meantime to help out.

Have a great day,

Shaina

Response from their support team for people who are facing the same issues.

========

"Thanks for giving that a shot. Unfortunately, I am unable to give you a timeline where we will be changing the minimum requirements for Craft Manager to include the Beta version of MacOS.

That being said, I have forwarded this on to our Engineering team so that they can begin an investigation into this unintended behaviour in DSM. As soon as we have an update on a resolution from them, we will be sure to update you here.

The only recommendation I have is trying to go back to Mojave. I understand that's not an easy undertaking if you're already on a beta program, I'm so sorry I don't have better news!

Thank you for all your help in reporting this, and please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime."
